Attaching Upper-Top to Base Cabinets Attaching 8020 to Base Cabinet Attaching Countertops and uppertops together Hardware to bolt 8020 to cabinetry
Use the 5 socket head bolts to attach the outrigger to the cabinet. If installation is blind, then T-Nuts should alread be installed. If bolting thru a panel or on the ends, then use the supplied Thru-Nuts. Make sure to install the 1-1/4" pocket screw in the front of the unit to attach the angled part of the upper top. Located just behind the front rack rail. You will see location of the T-Nut and bolt assembly here. Feed the nut on with at least 1 thread to hold position and give the flexibility needed to slide the 8020 into position. This is what your cabinetry with hardware should look like when ready to install the 8020 vertical channels. Notice the flange of the nut is away from the cabinet. Use the Tight-Joint fasteners to join the countertop and upper tops together. Install biscuits and joints, then snug up, do not over-tighten as the laminate may crack at the seams. The hardware packed along with the job to bolt the 8020 to the cabinetry. The long bar goes toward the bottom, while the singles go to the middle and top. This is how the T-Nut should look inside the 8020 channel. These bolts are used to tighten the front edge of the cabinets together. 8020 secures the back and these secure the front. They are marked as to their location in the cabinets.

Slide Cabinets into position Bolt the Cabinets together Cabinet should look like this at this point Installation of the countertops
You will be able to make final positioning after cabinet is fully assembled. Use these 7 positions as shown to bolt together the 2-Bay to the 3-Bay. You will do this on both sides of the 3-Bay Using the Thru-Bolt and Thru-Nut combination. Install the outriggers into the 4 positions on the cabinet. You will use 3 bolt assemblies per outrigger, be sure to tighten firmly. Place both halves of the countertop onto the outriggers. Insert the biscuits along the edge and slide them together Insert and tighten the Tight-Joint fasteners on the underside of the countertop. Be careful to just snug the joint and not overtighten at this step. The laminate can buckle and crack if over-tightened. Install the cleat over the tight-joint fasteners. This will keep the countertop in position at the joint. Install the table legs under the countertop in the spotted positions at the ends. Slide into final position and wipe clean for a finished console.
